📖 HOW TO PLAY

🎯 GOAL

Build a thriving kibbutz community from the ground up. Gather resources, feed your workers, grow your population, manage seasons and weather, and unlock new buildings and tools to expand your settlement.

🌾 GETTING STARTED

1️⃣
You start with 1 House, 1 Well, and 4 workers. Click 🌲 trees and ⛏️ rocks on the map — the nearest free worker will walk over and gather wood or stone.
2️⃣
Build a 🌾 Farm to grow food. Farms need 💧 water to produce — your starting Well handles this. Build more wells as you expand.
3️⃣
Build more 🏠 Houses to increase population. New workers join when happiness is ≥60 and you have enough food & water.
4️⃣
Build a 🛒 Market to unlock the Shop — buy tools like the 🪓 Axe, ⛏️ Pickaxe, and 🎣 Fishing Rod to boost gathering and unlock fishing.
5️⃣
Place 🛤️ Roads to speed up worker movement by 44%. Build 🚿 Irrigation near farms to cut water use by 40%.

🏗 RESOURCES

🌾 Food — feeds workers every tick. Low food = starvation & unhappiness 💧 Water — farms consume it to grow food. No water = 80% production penalty 💰 Money — used to build, upgrade, and buy tools. Workers earn passive income 🪵 Wood — gathered from trees or produced by Sawmills & Lumberyards 🪨 Stone — mined from rocks or produced by Quarries & Stone Pits Energy — generated by Solar Panels & Windmills. Powers Greenhouses
Build 📦 Storage to increase resource caps (+80 each). Food rots if over 90% capacity.

👷 WORKERS & SKILLS

Workers auto-assign to buildings that need staff. Idle workers can be sent to chop trees, mine rocks, or fish by clicking those spots on the map.

Each worker has fatigue, morale, and hunger. Overworked or starving workers lose efficiency. Click a worker in the 👥 panel to toggle rest — they'll walk home and recover.

Workers gain skill XP through work, leveling from Novice → Apprentice → Journeyman → Expert → Master. Higher skill = more output. Build a 📚 School to double XP gain.

Workers have random traits like 💪 Hard Worker, 🌿 Green Thumb, 🎣 Angler, ⛏ Miner, or 🪓 Lumberjack that give bonus efficiency in specific tasks.

🌾 Farms & Orchards — grow food (need water) 🏡 Greenhouse — high food output (needs energy + water) 💧 Wells & Water Towers — produce water 🚿 Irrigation — cuts water use −40% nearby ⚒️ Workshop — produces money 🪚 Sawmill / ⛏️ Quarry — produce wood/stone ☀️ Solar / 🌬️ Windmill — generate energy 🏠 House — +4 population cap per house 🍽️ Dining Hall — boosts happiness 📚 School — +15% efficiency, 2× XP gain ⚕️ Clinic — faster fatigue recovery for all 🛒 Market — trade & buy tools
Click a building to see its stats. Upgrade buildings (up to Lv.5) for +35% output per level. Demolish with DEL for 50% refund.

🛒 MARKET & TOOLS

Build a Market to access trading and the tool shop. Prices fluctuate based on supply — sell high, buy low!

🪓 Iron Axe (💰80) — 2× chop speed ⛏️ Pickaxe (💰100) — 2× mine speed 🎣 Fishing Rod (💰60) — unlocks fishing 🕸️ Fishing Net (💰120) — 2× fish yield 🪓 Steel Axe (💰220) — 3× chop speed ⛏️ Steel Pick (💰280) — 3× mine speed 🧺 Harvest Basket (💰90) — +30% food 🛒 Cargo Cart (💰150) — +20% all yields

🐟 FISHING & GATHERING

Fishing: Buy a 🎣 Fishing Rod, then click fish spots near water. Workers catch 3–6 food per cycle. Upgrade with the Fishing Net for 2× yield.

Trees & Rocks: Click them to send a worker. Trees give wood (3 HP, ~4s/hit), rocks give stone (4 HP, ~6s/hit). They regrow after depletion. Better tools = faster gathering.

🏊 SWIMMING

Workers can cross water — they'll automatically swim at reduced speed (55% slower). Useful for reaching resources or buildings on the other side of rivers!

🌤 SEASONS & WEATHER

Seasons cycle every 10 days: 🌱 Spring → ☀️ Summer → 🍂 Autumn → ❄️ Winter.

🌱 Spring — +20% food, +10% water ☀️ Summer — +40% food, −20% water 🍂 Autumn — balanced, +40% wind energy ❄️ Winter — −50% food, −60% solar. Stock up!

Weather changes every few days. 🌧️ Rain boosts water but kills energy. ☀️ Sunny boosts solar and food. ⛈️ Storms are harsh. 💨 Wind powers windmills.

🎲 RANDOM EVENTS

Events can strike at any time — droughts, festivals, trade caravans, machine breakdowns, cold snaps, volunteer arrivals, and more. Each event gives you a choice that affects your kibbutz differently. Choose wisely!

🏆 MILESTONES

Click 🏆 Goals to see 12 objectives — from planting your first farm to surviving 20 days. Completing milestones rewards you with money, food, wood, and stone to fuel your growth.

😊 HAPPINESS

Keep happiness high (≥80) for a +25% production bonus. Happiness drops from starvation, water shortage, bad weather, and events. Build 🍽️ Dining Halls, keep everyone fed, and hold festivals to stay happy!

💾 saves your game, 📂 loads it. The game auto-saves every 60 seconds to your browser. Use the speed button to cycle 1× → 2× → 3× game speed.
